Well this week was pretty good for the most part.
Story one:
Tuesday I went on splits with Elder Olson once again, but this time in my area. It was another blistering,
hot day as well, but that didn't stop us from working hard. We were teaching great lessons--bouncing off
each other and working off each other perfectly. Our chemistry was on point that day. Around three o'clock
we decided to contact this one house out of nowhere. The lady let us in, and before we even said a word she
started to cry. Well, we asked her why she was crying and she told us a really, really long story. In a nutshell,
she told us about how she and her daughter have been getting in a lot of fights recently, and how she felt
like her life was kinda falling apart. So she decided to pray for help from God, and twenty minutes later we
knocked on the door and told her about how the Gospel helps bring joy and love into everyone's home.
Well then the daughter came out and we don't even say anything and she starts to cry, 'ah no me venga.'
We asked her why she was crying and she refused to answer us so we just went on with the lesson. So hey--that's
a pretty cool story about how God answers prayers and will always send help if you need it.
I have also come down with another case of food poisoning, so that's fun. I'm pretty sure it was when we were
at a member's house and they brought us some street meat and tacos and we ate it. My comp is completely fine
but oh man, it is like straight child birth at the moment. What made it worse was that I was dehydrated like
no other yesterday, and when I told my comp we need to go the the capilla for water he told me 'no and stop
being a baby'.
What else has happened this week? My comp or I will probably be transferred today so that is really, really
exciting.
That's really all that happened this week--hope everyone else's week was a little more exciting than mine.
Have a great week this week.
Love you all talk to you next week
